We provide information and the ability to download a variety of measures for assessing trauma and PTSD. These measures are intended for use by qualified mental health professionals and researchers. Measures are divided into two groups: those authored by National Center staff and those by other organizations. See individual pages for how to obtain the measure. This online tool helps users learn about and compare PTSD treatment options, offering tips on how to work with a provider to decide on a treatment plan. An updated version is being released in the fall of 2025. - Whiteboard videos
Video animations on a variety of PTSD topics to help you learn about posttraumatic stress disorder. - Help with PTSD for You and Your Family – CRAFT PTSD
Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT) – Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a web-based course for family members of Veterans working to manage PTSD. This course teaches family members how to encourage their Veteran to get treatment and support them during care.
Print Materials
- These educational flyers, handouts, brochures and other print materials can be used to help educate patients and family members about PTSD. They can be used by health providers to distribute to patients or by family members to help someone with PTSD.
